I am a National board-certified licensed acupuncturist and herbalist and also certified by the Texas Medical Board and the Texas State Board of Acupuncture Examiners.  I have a diploma in Oriental Medicine certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  

 

The past 10 years, I have been using integrated medicine to develop topical treatments that minimize the side effects of medication with my partner Beijing Bioengineering Inc. I have developed formulations and processes for a series of specialty products that help high to control blood pressure, pain, and acne through integration of modern science and oriental medicine. With my science background, I have also been involved in personal care research and developed coatings for dilation-drug delivery catheters. 

 

With years of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) study and practices, I focused on women's health, stress and pain management, and cosmetic acupuncture. For women’s health, I am not only successfully provided IVF and IUI supporting treatments for infertility patients but also successfully helped infertility patients to naturally conceive.  I also effectively help women overcome hot flash and hormone imbalance in a natural way.    For pain management, I have had success in controlling Trigeminal Neuralgia, effectively treating facial paralysis, stress, insomnia, and high blood pressure, etc. My knowledge of chemistry and physics bring a unique perspective to TCM and help me provide effective treatments for people in need.

I have been continuing to learn advanced acupuncture techniques and new developments by following different research groups and being an intern at Beijing Dong Fang Hospital and trained in China-Japan Friendship Hospital.

I work for the interest of the patients by bridging the discipline of modern science with the wisdom of ancient healing to develop an integrated diagnostic and therapeutic plan that will best address the patient's health conditions as a whole.  My principle focuses are overall health, wellness, and disease prevention

Suru (Amy) Sun

Suru Sun, a National board-certified licensed acupuncturist and clinical herbalist. She has over ten years of clinical experience of Chinese medicine and passionate to bring her expertise to her patients.
 

She had extensive knowledge

  1. To treat headaches and migraines, meniere’s disease, ear problem and heart related issues.

  2. To manage pain in integrative way, particularly with challenging pain issues.

  3. In various TCM subjects, after studied under more than ten most famous doctors, from Beijing Chinese Medicine university, Hei Long Jiang Chinese Medicine university, Si Chuan Chinese Medicine university etc.

  4. in herbology and experience with herbal formulars.  She also had knowledge about modern pharmacology as a chemist.  She has passion to bridge eastern and western medicine to provide optimal solution to solve challenge health problems with nature approaches.

  5. in both acupuncture and herbal, and she learned special treatment from her family who had deep rooted in TCM history.
